This is 파란 나비 Blue Butterfly, a new space for appreciating the beauty of songs by Korean artists. I have always loved music, (even majored in music in college) but it was in 2017, after having fallen in love with the Korean language that I also fell in love with Korean music. I created Blue Butterfly to celebrate the beauty and great comfort that Korean music gives me and help English-speaking audiences connect with and appreciate it on a deeper level by helping them overcome the language barrier. 

I am currently an EFL teacher living and working in South Korea while I continue my personal Korean studies to reach fluency. I am an ARMY but this site will include music by many other Korean artists as well and is dedicated to sharing music that impacts listeners positively: be it comforting, moving, touching, or dance-inducing.
